it has a been a while since my last post, but I have time to publish a few ornaments I recently made ~
perhaps one will inspire you to make some too :)
For this ornament, I cut 2 hexagons (approx. 4 inches wide); one of gingerbread colored felt, and the other a bit larger (to include seams) of small red and white gingham -embellishing the felt top with beads, lace, ribbon, a bit of embroidery -
then, started to sew it all up with pearl cotton and beads...stuffing with wool as I went, and sewing in some ribbon at the top for hanging...and added little mulberry paper roses at the top.Luke 1:4 That thou mightest know the certainty of those things wherein thou hast been instructed.
